Liner Notes:

A song written to a prompt at a music camp I am attending this week to use repeating motifs in a melody. The melody writing class is taught by Abbie Gardner at Summersongs East 2017. Later that day I memorized it and performed it at a student show.

What a good idea and good proof of concept for the song. The echo-y outro was a neat touch.

I like the introspective thing in this. Dreams, keys, peace... it all works and they're nice variations. I like how I hoped for the verses to come again after the outro, which makes me think the verses are very good in it's phrasing and cadence. Nice one!

Hey thanks for including the chords so we can play along! I like how the intensity builds with each thing you lose being of greater importance. Kinda feeling sad for the writer tho. I like how the echo effect came for the 'hope' verse as it shifted the sadness and left us feeling hopeful.
