but keep it green

shine to a sheen
use products
that are edible

vodka shot
grapefruit extract
coffee grounds
Coca Cola
herbal compounds
and wine

PC
all of these things will
clean just fine

shine to a sheen
use products
that are edible

B
you can scrub shower scum
and polish your shelves
you can clean the oven
and bathe yourself

you can mop the floors
and spot clean rugs
you can launder clothes
and clean your mugs

PC/Outro
edible organics will
clean just fine...

and they'll clean even better
with a glass of wine

I find it so interesting in the different ways we can write about the same subject Smile I love your take

My wife would certainly agree with you (I keep insisting that organic products don't clean as well, mainly to annoy her). But regardless of my personal provocations, I can hear this as a catchy exhortation to go "natural," and I like the list structure, which I can picture as being very upbeat. Nice job!

I don't remember, was there ever a "list" challenge? Because this would be perfect. I like that you were able to have a bigger message in the lyric and that bridge works perfectly.

I clean just about everything with vinegar and baking soda. It just works and is natural. I can also vouch for vodka. Coke works too, but the notion that coke is a good, natural product is questionable. Smile Hey, you know what cleans cymbals well? Ketchup.

Nice lyric. I'd love to hear a melody for it, just to see what genre we would use for this one. Punk? or New Wave, maybe? I solved the problem of using harsh cleaners by hiring someone to do it for me! Nice skirmish!
