Lost in Time

we walked along the riverside
arm in arm our hands entwined
a zephyr blew our cares away
it seems like yesterday

we were lost in the moment
lost out of our minds
we barely even noticed
that we were lost in time

I see you in the market
across the produce aisle
I catch your eye you smile at me
and I remember why

we are lost in the moment
lost out of our minds
we barely even notice
that we are lost in time

the years will treat us kindly
and we will always find
a path to walk together
and we'll be lost in time

we'll be lost in the moment
lost out of our minds
we'll barely even notice
that we are lost in time

we'll be lost in the moment
lost out of our minds
we'll barely even notice
that we are lost in time

Sweet little love song! Good imagery here with the zephyr, and the sentiment of "we barely even notice that we are lost in time" is particularly sweet. Good work!

Such a wonderful romantic and heartfelt feel to the vividly descriptive and poetic lyric! It truly tugs at the heartstrings. And the emotion in your vocals and the timing of your phrasing is superb in delivery the melody. I love the sentiment, I love the sound, I love everything about it!

Touching vocal, and the opening image draws you in. The chorus really captures that feeling of not even sensing time when you're really engrossed in something (or someone).

What a beautiful song. And a beautiful sentiment. I think you'd do well with an album and a house concert career if ever you'd do such a thing.

BTW, I hear a hint of Jim Croce in your vocal here. Which is a compliment for me, as I associate his voice with stellar songwriting.

A beautiful love song. You might call it a "simple love song", but sometimes the most simple of songs has the biggest impact.

It says what it needs to in a way that everyone can relate to, and the music lets that come across wonderfully. Good
