Lyrics:

I've seen a million faces burn
I've seen the fires of hell
I've seen the serpent's blinded eyes
I've seen the golden trail
I've seen the serpent's blinded eyes
I've seen the golden trail

I've seen a million faces burn
I've seen the fires of hell
I've seen the serpent's blinded eyes
I've seen the golden trail
I've seen the serpent's blinded eyes
I've seen the golden trail

Oh, a bit of mystery and danger and sets such a mood!

Argh, ha this is cool.

I didn't expect the vocals to be like this but it totally works for the tone and sound of this song. The instrumentation is very cool with lots of neat parts. Like those drums and the bits of piano.

Oh yeah, that bass line is so tasty!
The Tom Waits vox really work well.
So ominous.
All around great work here!!

Well, I'm going to have bad dreams tonight--but I DID enjoy this. Nicely arranged to keep my interest! Keep it up!!

It's the first psychedelic pirate song I remember hearing. I love the distortion combined with the rhythm and how the vocal works so well against the music. Even here, you have a cinematic feel, especially going into the second verse. And the reverse blues lyric structure looks dated on paper, but works very well in context. This is cool.

Some deep, crunchy sub bass crushing up front to start. Cool filters on the eq and vocal effect pushing things to the back. Wild, deranged sea-scape here. The piano parts add a ton to the madness. Just feels destroyed and off-kilter all the way through. Nicely done!
