Liner Notes:

So, this is what happened today. I'm not completely happy with the mix, but I had some damn issues with the recording. Problems of a poorly equipped home studio. Anyway, here it is. The first song of my Machinae Supremacy copycat act. (that could be the name of the band.)

Lyrics:

Unchained spirit of a chained loop
Always on time, always on point
7.62 printed on the chest
In this world we don't disappear
I know your footsteps, I know your face
Prepare to be baptised in grace of fire

Pull me back, I'm on the edge
And cover every open space
Tell me when you've got my back
I'm safe in your sights, bullet sister

Behind every corner another lost soul
Behind every mission a bitter taste
We came here as heroes, now it feels so stale
Does anything matter? They just come again
I know your footsteps, I know your face
Prepare to be baptised in grace of fire

Pull me back, I'm on the edge
And cover every open space
Tell me when you've got my back
I'm safe in your sights, bullet sister

Another sunrise, another race
It all burns to ashes
Can you see the end?

Pull me back, I'm on the edge
And cover every open space
Tell me when you've got my back
I'm safe in your sights, bullet sister

Love the vocal doubling right before the chorus, really gives it an extra oomph. Definitely matches that Machinae style. Great work!

"Oh this is a nice chiptune sta-oh metal. Cool."

Rad intro, cool switch up and cool down before the verse. The chiptune bits provide a nice backing to it all, the pre-chorus is perfect. Nice melodic solo! Keeping it tasteful but still some cool playing, this is a good tune! Driving energy and solid melodies, good stuff! Metal and games go together all to well.

We can always count on @Ianuarius to bring the Rock. The chiptunes and the melodic vocal certainly place this firmly in late 80s hair metal. Nice job

I love this. The harmonised lead in the intro is great and the lyrics definitely fit with the whole power metal theme Smile

Really great prosody here the music punches strongly against the lyric and vox, great work

I always enjoy your metal tracks, and this rocks very nicely indeed. I don't know Machinae Supremacy, but I like this! Lots of propulsive energy, and it sounds pretty great on a technical level too.
