Lyrics:

V1
grapes on a vine
sweet in season
damaged by storms
and early freezes
they are
fragile and
vulnerable....
as is love
as is love....

C
our love is fragile
our love is potent
so vulnerable
so addictive...
our love is fragile
our love is potent

our love is....
our love is....

V2
smooth rich red wine
good sipped slowly
bad when too much
downed fast and fully
it is
potent and
addictive....
as is love
as is love....

C
our love is fragile
our love is potent
so vulnerable
so addictive...
our love is fragile
our love is potent

our love is...
our love is....

B
once love was so sweet
we savored every moment
I couldn't get enough
of you
but then the storms came
so strong and unexpected
I froze not knowing what
to do

C
our love is fragile
our love is potent
so vulnerable
so addictive...
our love is fragile
our love is potent

our love is...
our love is...
our love

Greay collab! The chorus is so catchy. The words themselves so intense and with the delivery it really sticks in your head. Really love the word potent. I like how it almost feels like a chant. I also like the changing guitar notes inside the static droning notes. Makes a great bed for your half spoken half sung vocal.

Really beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better note on which to finish this challenge.

This is superb. Lovely to hear Sam doing a slightly longer song! Lyrically and musically excellent stuff.

This has a charming quality of growing on you. Chorus especially starts to sound very memorable with repeated listens. I like the insistent groove and how the verses flow to choruses and back. The feel is very organic and it fits the lyrics with sensual images of grapes, wine and storms. Great collab you two.

Love your straight-forward vocal delivery. You deliver the lines without flash and pretension.

This is a really simple yet profound approach to the collaboration. Beautiful, and a great send off to 50-90.
