Hyperbole: Use exaggeration in the lyrics. Examples: “Changed the Locks” (Lucinda Williams), “Hoochie Coochie Man” (Willie Dixon), “It’s Raining Men” (The Weather Girls). If you compose music only, exaggerate musical elements like dynamics, intervals, etc.
