I'm going to explain all of this, but also do a TL;DR version at the bottom, just in case I get too long winded and you don't feel like reading all of the incoming text.
Hey everyone, my name is NuJ4X. You might be familiar with me, you might not be. I'm part of the FAWM / 50/90 community and I have been working very hard on a song called "Wilmas & Bettys". It is near completion and I have a lot of ideas about how to get it out there. One of the ways, is by a dance. The Bedrock Twitch to be exact (Yes, from Flintstones).
"Wilmas & Bettys" is a double entendre for Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble, but also surfer terms for women. The surf slang "Betty" is used more widely than "Wilma" but it's 80s slang for an attractive woman/women.
I am reaching out to my local high school, all of my FAWM / 50/90 friends, family members, friends families, and anyone I can to be willing to learn the Bedrock Twitch (this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5haMVR5my-s between 0:54 - 0:57 - the way he slides back and forth inverting his feet) and create a video that they are willing to post to Facebook stories, Instagram stories, Tik Tok Posts, Snapchat, Twitter, etc.
I know it's a big ask, but this is one way unknown artists get heard in this day and age. Look at Lil Nas X and "Old Town Road"....from nobody to superstar. I'd like to ask you to help me and bless me with that as well. You'll get to hear the song first, of course. To deem if it's worthy or not. I feel like you would like it though.
So I am asking, begging, and pleading for you to help. Any friends or family you know, any reasonable age kids that love internet challenges....anything. I want to create a "Flinstones Challenge" or something like that and used this song to catapult it forward. This is epic timing too, as they are actually REMAKING the Flintstones cartoon (Google it, no joke).
TL:DR - Would you be willing to make a dance video for me and share it on all social media?
