TAGS: SS071020b, skirmish, superskirmish
WHAT: A 1-hour song skirmish, and along these lines:
1) At the start of the event, I'll announce a title/prompt/theme/concept/ for your inspiration.
2) Participants write, record, and post a song within an hour. Lyrics, songs, poems, or instrumentals are all fine. If you take longer than an hour, PLEASE post anyway, no matter how much later.
3) Be sure to tag your song, and post a link to it in this thread.
4) If you participate, please listen to (or read) and comment on the works of all the other participants. Share the 50-90 love, folks.
Fun and embarrassment may ensue, but, most importantly, everyone will have one more song, lyric, poem, or instrumental under their belt!
@Donna Devine - sorry to be annoying but 4 pm PDT and/or 7 PM EDT is actually midnight BST
We (UK & Ireland) are 5 hours ahead of EDT and 8 hours ahead of the Pacific USA coast (PDT).
Thanks, @Amanda West. This is driving me nuts. (I was using what was in the original posted template, except for the change I made to the Amsterdam time.)
All I know for sure is that John started his Skirmish A on Friday at 11pm my time, so I need to start my Skirmish B at 1am my time [Saturday].
Meanwhile, I've adjusted the BST thingy.

Came here thinking that if I'm going to do this one I'll need to do something very quiet and gentle and a cappella as it's past midnight and I have neighbours... I guess the topic makes that extra challenging!
Will give it a go anyway.
OK. Here's my take!

A bit rough around the edges, but here's mine! I had to sing *very very quietly* and very close to the mic, so please ignore all the noise on the mic... Sleep now, but I'll come and listen to the rest tomorrow!
