SUNDAY Skirmish, July 10th, 3PM EST, 8PM pm in London; noon in LA

TITLE/INSPIRATION: Your inner self, who are you really deep inside

TAGS: #skirmish #skirmish3 #innerself

WHAT: We'll have a song skirmish and it will go something like this:
1) At the start of the event, a title or theme will be announced.
2) All participants write and record a song to that title/theme. They have an hour to do so.
3) Participants share links to their songs. Fun and embarrassment ensues. But most importantly, one more song is written!

Be sure and tag your song and also post a link to it in this thread!

If you participate it is customary to listen to (or read) the songs of the other skirmish participants and comment!

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks so much! Have fun!

I have a meeting of my Songwriter's circle at that time, but I'll do it when I get back, sometime around 17:00 CDT.

Wow this would totally limit my options! I would have to bring my guitar to work for this one!!

I got carried away recording guitar parts, and didn't leave much time for the lyrics/vocal recording. Oops!

here's my lyrical contribution. can't record well right now. i have a melody in mind, but it's a bit too much like "take this job and shove it," so i need to get away from it for a bit before i record it.

lyrics only. got started a tad late, and can't record except live right now anyway.

p.s.-- oops. repeated. forgive me-- this is the first day i'm back from a flu, and i'm still a bit fuzzy around the edges.

Great words @reklov, can't wait for the music !

Haven't started mine yet, as got tied up busy Sad Will do it in the morning Smile

Not sure what time zone you're in...i'm at work in mountain time but will write lyrics, post them and write a tune when I get home..

Started late and ran even later, but put up some lyrics for what could loosely be called a song. Demo to come later.

late start after songwriters circle and family time, written/recorded as it is in 1 hour

Added the demo for this little ditty - *16742
