TAGS: skirmish , songskirmish,

WHAT: We'll have a song skirmish and it will go something like this:
1) At the start of the event, a title or theme will be announced.
2) All participants write and record a song to that title/theme. They have an hour to do so.
3) Participants share links to their songs. Fun and embarrassment ensues. But most importantly, one more song is written!

Be sure and tag your song and also post a link to it in this thread!

If you participate it is customary to listen to (or read) the songs of the other skirmish participants and comment!

Good luck and have fun!

Fingers crossed I might be able to join. Looking forward to seeing your title Corinne Smile

Standing by...

The title is "Room 25"

I finished in 30 minutes on the train, but I can't record or post till I get home tonight.

Thanks a lot for the great title! Smile

Here's mine. I quite like it Smile

*19085 is mine

late but I started at 3:30 so I am okay with that. *19087

I came with my excuses: spent time on google to find out about the room 25, found kind of a game, don't think this was what Corinne had in mind lol, excuses N2: the boys wanted to eat, excuse N3, took time to find a kind of photo. And so it is, not sure whether to post the link but I'm posting it quickly before changing my mind:

another over-the-time-limit effort, though it was fully written and composed by 55" in
had to wrestle a third track in there just because...

Finally home. Here are the lyrics. I'll take the other 30 minutes to record it tomorrow morning. It would not be polite to record this late with my neighbors.

I had an unexpected visitor, mid-skirmish, so I had to stop and come back to it. Probably went closer to 2 hours in total.

Okay, recorded it now. This one goes out to all you teachers!
