Posting pictures in song descriptions?

@Eric Distad (or anyone else): As per the subject line, is there any way to post externally-hosted pictures in the song descriptions? No big deal if there's not, obviously, but was just wondering if that's possible. Thanks!

You can try using HTML.

Edit:
currently trying to figure it out myself...

Yeah, I'd tried using the img tag, among other approaches; it doesn't look like it's supported here.

Well maybe it's a question for the system admins after all. Sorry I couldn't help. Sad

I would enjoy this. Good idea!

We can do this at FAWM but not here. Sad

This is a test...

I tried HTML, encoding it, etc. and nothing works. I bet @Eric Distad could turn this feature on if he is willing? Biggrin

@Eric Distad Might the posting of pictures become a possibility? Wink

So there are several issues with enabling the img tag - including possible security issues because of known issues with the underlying framework the site runs on - as well as the possibility of images that break the site formatting. (Think of someone linking to an image that is a million pixels wide and the site not knowing how to automatically resize... We had a similar issue with the FAWM image portion and found a code solution to fix it. The solution here would not be as simple)

I will research this and see if the security issues have been patched, but I can't make any guarantees. I'll keep you all posted.

@Eric Distad No problem if it doesn't work; better to have a bug-free site that functions smoothly than one that glitches for the sake of some unnecessary pretty pictures!

No worries, @Eric Distad. Smile I wouldn't want the site's security to be at risk.

@OdilonGreen The pictures wouldn't necessarily be pretty. Wink I was thinking more along the lines of interesting, intriguing, mystifying, thought-provoking, challenging, exciting, inspiring, etc. etc.
