Plans for a concept album. Skirmishes welcome if possible.

For my 50/90 this year, I am planning to write a concept album about a month in my life. I'm thinking of having most, if not all, of the tracks segue into one another a la Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon".
I've already uploaded my solo bass guitar piece "Asleep in the Night", which is meant to be part of this album and represent being asleep.
I have never done a "skirmish" before, so I'd like to contribute to that.

This sounds like a good idea, and a great way of organizing your thoughts!

As a big fan (and creator) of song-cycles, I've found that, for me at least, skirmishes and concept albums (especially story-centric ones) are pretty incompatible. Sometimes you get great synergy from an unexpected skirmish title/theme that slides right into the concept. But sometimes you really have to contort yourself.

So at least for me, when I do a skirmish, I tend to do it as a stand-alone; it's just too uncertain to try to force it into a concept album.

That being said, your concept looks flexible enough that you might be able to incorporate skirmishes better than my often heavily-story-centric ones can.
