Meetup anyone?
No, we're not. We're not out there at all.
You're more East Central Michigan anyway. It's a totally different thing.
In case anyone local sees this... I host a monthly group of songwriters *just* (like one mile) west of Ann Arbor. We are friendly and hardly ever bite. If anyone wants to meet other songwriter types in the flesh, we would be very happy to have you. I will give you a cookie if you come. Pure lyricists and pure musicians are welcome. Drop me a line of you want details.
Hey there. FAWM vet here. Signed up for 50/90 a few weeks ago, but got busy. Finally got around to posting a couple songs I wrote in July. Hope to meet a few more local artists as well. Take care.
Hey John... I think you're still on the email list for the songwriting group? You should come, it's a week from tomorrow in A^2.
Not sure if I am or not. Send me the details. Not sure if I can make it this month, but am interested in finding out more. Thanks!
Nope, you're not, as it turns out. Here's what was in the email I just sent out to the list:

September is here and the songwriter's group meets again next Monday the 12th. As always, bring instruments, CDs, ipods, songs, words, ideas, ears, brains, voices, whatever combination of the above works for you. Come to listen, offer suggestions, share ideas, get help, etc.
For new folks: directions here: http://gocoho.org/location/directions/ or email me with questions. If you get lost (quite possible) call me at [redacted]. If you could park on the street, that would be great. When you get here, come to the common house (one story red building in the middle of the place) and look for the "game room" at the east end of the building. Ask anyone you see for directions.

I live about a mile west of Ann Arbor, in a little community (the gocoho.org bit). Anyone in reach is very welcome. It's friendly and low-key, and usually fairly small. We sit around, play new songs, talk about 'em, shoot the shit. If you come I will personally serve you tea.
*sigh* oh for a private jet...

C'mon, I know you're out there/
