Lyrics:
Fashion - by David Bowie c1980
There's a brand new dance
but I don't know its name
That people from bad homes
do again and again
It's big and it's bland
full of tension and fear
They do it over there but we don't do it here
Fashion! Turn to the left
Fashion! Turn to the right
Oooh, fashion!
We are the goon squad
and we're coming to town
Beep-beep
Beep-beep
Listen to me - don't listen to me
Talk to me - don't talk to me
Dance with me - don't dance with me, no
Beep-beep
There's a brand new talk,
but it's not very clear
That people from good homes
are talking this year
It's loud and tasteless
and I've heard it before
You shout it while you're dancing
on the whole dance floor
Oh bop, fashion
Listen to me - don't listen to me
Talk to me - don't talk to me
Dance with me - don't dance with me, no
Beep-beep
Beep-beep
Oh, bop, do do do do do do do do
Fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion
Oh, bop, do do do do do do do do
Fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion
La-la la la la la la-la
(Don't talk to me)

that beat us unmistakeable. you mantain the bowie feel while adding your own spin, especially in,the dance with me and do do do sections
Great Bowie-ish vox here.
That goon squad (beep beep!) line always cracks me up.
Really nice cover you got here; it adds a certain amount of humanity to the cold-sounding original.
Nice job for sure.
Nice cover! You do great on the vocals and instrumental here, very cool electro sounds. I don't know the original but this is a cool recording!
Excellent Bowie vocals. Mix sounds great. Great cover!
Love this! Great version of David Bowie! Gotta dance!
Very nice, got the balance of bowie and that beat yet your own influence, nice.
Yeah this is a really great cover! You've managed to take the plastic-ness and overproduced feel I always thought the original had too much of for my tastes, still loved it, just felt too overdone for me, yet this is still a great fun dance tune that sounds great with a definite Bowie vibe....... really excellent performance!
Very nice cover
Really good. You have the beat and the the vocal for this.
Wow, excellent production (but what else would I expect from you). True to the original with your own touch, just what makes a good cover.
There's a tense, nervous energy about this version that the original lacked; Bowie's delivery was a lot more mannered (excepting the bonkers, three-syllabic delivery of the word "the" at the end of the second verse). Perhaps he felt Fripp's histrionic guitar was emotion enough, who knows? I can hear the ghost of Fripp's playing in that swirly synth, though, and that's only right - the song wouldn't be the same without something taking that role. This was fun!
Oh yes, I'm pretty sure I like this version way better! The 'beep beep' done by, so it seems, a few Wolfs is priceless. And the musical interpretation, rhythm included, of the David Bowie original is just very likable. This one will be on re-beep beep-peat for a while!
Who better to do all things Bowie here than you Wolf? You wear this song well , and I enjoyed some new wrinkles.
Great cover -- and your vocals have a great Bowie feel to them!
Cool version...you've added just enough variation to keep it interesting and your vocal is stellar!
